After a long hard week, the weekend is the time where I catch up with my children (and wife), play a little golf and do some essential unwinding.
I also find myself often in deep thought. At the moment, this is predominantly of our future and what it might be; and the often over-riding thought being of the children and what sort of future they will have. This I know, is a very common thought for most parents, especially in what is today perceived as a quite fragile and uncertain world.
But is this idea, actually right though?
The world probably just seems this way, because its always changing and evolving. What seems solid and secure one day, can often appear flimsy and fragile the next. To see this process in action all around us, we just need to consider the housing market (real estate) collapse, the loss of jobs and the demise of our banking system.
Wow! I did have some deep thoughts didn’t I?
The point that I’m trying to make, is that none of this is unusual, in fact, if we look at our history right back to the Wall street crash, it’s quite ‘usual’. The economic cycle is indeed ‘cyclical’ – with peaks and troughs; where sometimes the peaks last longer than the troughs and vice-versa.
Essentially, we have to make the best of the current situation, but above all, evolve and grow – keeping our minds open to new ideas and new opportunity.
You may be asking at this point, “So what’s all this about Andrew”?
It’s about ‘our’ future, because if ever anything epitomised new ideas and new opportunity more than anything else that I can think of – it is the power that we have at our finger tips – the inernet.
So be positive, be happy and look to your future with great optimism.

Andrew,
Yes it is an uncertain world that we live in, but we do have the power to direct out lives and our future.
The thoughts we have and the action we take will ultimately decide what our future holds. We may not be able to control a particular situation, but we can control our attitudes and our thinking.
Keep up the good work & keep the faith.
To Your Success

Hey Andrew,
A very inspirational post…you did have some deep thoughts…
We are all in control of our future, and the paths we take. I truly believe that we have all taken the correct path here with Alex, and if we follow it to the end we will be deeply rewarded.
Talk real soon,

Hi Paul,
I’m really pleased you found it inspirational. That was my intention, because no matter how focused we are or how hard we work at things, we sometimes have bad days don’t we?
I thought a motivational type post would be well rerceived.
Keep in touch my friend.

Hi Andrew,
You are right in your posting. We have to keep things in perspective especially in the situation that the world seems to have found itself in. Everything is cyclical and you can’t have 10 years of good without eventually having the bad.
But by focussing on the positives we, as individuals and a collective, can thrive in any environment thanks to the system that is being laid down for us.
Best wishes.
Andy

Hi Andrew,
As Alex Jeffreys says, you need to turn negatives into a positive.
Having lost my job last year, finding Marketing with Alex might just be the thing to turn the tide on my current circumstances.
As you say, it’s all about adapting the cards your dealt.
Maybe this time I’ve been dealt an Ace!
Speak soon,
John

Hi John,
I’d say that we have been dealt an ace. Time will tell, but I feel quite strongly that we’re all in the right place at the right time and travelling in the right direction.
Sorry to hear that you lost your job. I’m in a similar situation, in that since the sredit crunch really took hold my business has practically ground to a halt, hence my new IM career.
Keep in touch,
Andrew.
